Pepperl+Fuchs claims its Series 61 photoelectric sensors offer machine builders a cost-effective, high optical power solution. The company says these UL and cUL listed sensors are available in DC models with its 4-in-1 output and AC/DC models with SPDT relay output, for a number of applications. AC/DC versions with SPDT relay output are capable of switching up to 3 Amps. For harsh environment applications, Series 61 sensors are also available in fi bre optic versions where the sensing range is dependent on the fi bre cable. Production applications suggested by the company include over-the-conveyor package detection in material handling industries, as well as part positioning in the automotive environment.
