The aim of Automotive Manufacturing Solutions (AMS) is to provide information and insights into the processes, technologies and equipment used in vehicle production worldwide.
We do this with original reporting, by carrying expert articles and papers, with listings of equipment, by profiles of technology/equipment providers, and by hosting videos and webinars, all backed by extensive diagrams and photography. All this is categorised by production area (stamping, paintshop, final assembly etc) and by region, as well as of course being fully searchable. And it includes the content of all the issues of AMS magazine and its supplements back to 2007.
Our editorial team undertakes two essential tasks. They carry out exclusive interviews with plant professionals and senior executives, go behind the scenes at production plants around the world, and survey key car-producing regions and the different processes or materials used in manufacturing and assembly. Secondly, they report on the latest technologies, applications and products are presented in a coherent and readable way. All this and more appears on this website. But we also seek to connect all those involved in the disciplines of automotive production, through physical events, through social media like LinkedIn, and via Q&A during our webinars, to give just some examples.We at AMS also champion the place of the print magazine. In a smartphone world, it is an accessible and useful medium in which to reduce complexity and synthesise strands of information. The AMS Directory of equipment and service providers, updated on this site, is also distributed in print along with the first issue of the year.
