Hexagon Metrology, the world’s largest measurement group, includes leading metrology brands such as Brown & Sharpe, CE Johansson, CimCore, DEA, Leica Geosystems (Metrology Division), Leitz, PC-DMIS, Sheffield, Romer, TESA and now also Cognitens. At EMO 2007, Hexagon Metrology presented a series of new additions to its broad range of measurement equipment and systems for dimensional metrology. Compact size, measurement volume suitable for the inspection of small-sized components, and high accuracy are the key features of the Micra mini CMM.
Hexagon Metrology now includes the prestigious range of horizontal-arm measuring systems complementing the successful Brave, Maestro, Prima and Toro lines, with the new Bravo HP models.
Leica Geosystems took the world of portable CMM to the next level by expanding the capabilities of its laser tracking systems with wireless ‘walk-around’ probing (Leica T-Probe) and rapid non-contact scanning (Leica T-Scan).The Leica T-Mac (Tracker-Machine control sensor) is the latest device to join the ranks. The device is mounted on robots or machines whose position needs to be monitored in 6DoF space without the need for a contact tip.
