Allison says the facility covers 60,000 sq. ft and features both hot and cold soak chambers and two chassis dyne-equipped environmental chambers capable of simulating a range of duty cycles, environmental conditions, and altitudes up to 18,000 feet. The company notes that this test centre can accommodate most commercial on-highway, off-highway vehicles offers testing for a wide-range of propulsion systems, including alternative fuel, electric hybrid, fully electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
