The drive for greater sustainability has progressed beyond zero tail pipe emission vehicles. Every aspect of the vehicle production cycle is now under increased scrutiny including the structural and component materials. Steel is still the dominant material used in vehicle production so there is a very urgent need to reduce the CO2 produced in its manufacture.
