Its SwissDeco machines are now available for different bar diameters says Tornos. The SwissDeco 26 has been designed for a maximum bar diameter of 25.4mm while the 36 model has a maximum bar capacity of 36mm. The company says that while both machines have the same machine base, each spindle type has its different characteristics.
Tornos says four SwissDeco machine versions are available and all of these machine configurations feature three independent tool systems, the same spindle block for back machining operations and a gang tool post to the right of the guide bush. The company claims a new HMI console facilitates machine operation and programming for the machine operator, and that the machines feature ISO code programming by means of the TISIS software that has been specifically adapted to enable efficient management of the 3 tool systems.
