US – As group vice-president (VP), chief compliance officer for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), Jacqueline Thomas will lead multiple departments: internal audit; compliance and ethics; regulatory compliance; customs/trade compliance; and assurance. Thomas will continue to report to Jim Lentz, CEO of TMNA.
Thomas joined Toyota in 1999 as a financial projects manager. She was promoted to internal audit director and later became chief audit executive and vice-president of corporate responsibility. Before taking her newest position, she was vice-president, chief compliance officer for TMNA. Prior to joining Toyota, she served Atlantic Richfield Company in a variety of roles.
