Boehringer 221/226 Cx seriesMAG has introduced its new Boehringer 221/226 Cx series, which it claims is designed for machining the new generation of crankshafts and offers higher milling performance for harder materials.

The company says this series of machining centres offers simplified operation and maintenance, as well as a compact, modular design. The Cx series includes the three types of machines for milling, turn broaching and turning, all designed according to the same modular principle with only the tool carriers differing depending on the type of machining, which is intended to make preventive maintenance easier. The new CNC crankshaft machines also feature a three-stage transmission to provide more torque.
