US – As president of the region, Jason Adams will develop the company’s presence in the US, Canada, Mexico and Central American markets, in automotive and the other industries it serves. He will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, and report to Lectra CEO Daniel Harari.
Before joining Lectra, Adams served manufacturing execution system providers, Camstar and Apriso, as vice-president of Sales, Americas and Europe and vice-president of Sales respectively. After Apriso was acquired by Dassault Systèmes, he was promoted to vice-president for the Americas and had responsibility for the Delmia brand. He has also served on the board of the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association International.
Lectra claims a 65% global market share in fabric cutting rooms for car seats and interiors, as well as air bag cutting. The company aims to develop its leather seat and interior cutting activities, using new technological solutions.
