US – In addition to his new responsibilities for the research and planning of all future vehicles in the North American market as NAFTA head of Product Planning, Ben Winter also joins the Chrysler Group Leadership Team.
Winter was previously vice-president – Vehicle Engineering, with responsibility for engineering, programme execution and the launch of vehicle platform programmes. He joined Chrysler in 2008 as chief engineer – Minivan segment after holding a number of positions with engineering and manufacturing organisations, including Ford, where he started his career as senior engineer in 1985.
Winter’s appointment is effective immediately.
