US – Having previously served as regional vice-presidents, Judy Wheeler and Randy Parker will now take the titles of vice-president, Nissan Southeast Region, and vice-president, Nissan West Region, respectively. Both will continue to report to Fred Diaz, senior vice-president, US sales and marketing and operations.
Nissan said that, in addition, the remit of all regional vice-presidents in the US Central, Midwest and Northeast areas will expand to provide “a more comprehensive level of authority and autonomy”. Responsibilities now include regional marketing, incentive spending, distribution, dealer network development and financial controls. The previous focus was on delivering vehicle and part sales, as well as driving the continuous improvement of customer and dealer satisfaction.
“These redefined positions will give our regional leadership improved ability to align regional performance metrics with overall Nissan North America goals such as improving consolidated operating profit, growing market share and maximising return on investment spending,” said Diaz.
