Sweden – Volvo Car Corporation has appointed Alain Visser to the new position of vice-president Sales Operations within Marketing, Sales and Customer Service.
Visser comes from a position as vice-president Sales, Marketing and Aftersales for Opel and Vauxhall, based in Germany. His previous experience includes a variety of leadership positions in sales and marketing positions within Ford of Europe and General Motors. He started his career at Ford of Belgium in 1987 and has since held various senior positions within Ford of Europe. In 2004 he joined General Motors.
