HTRC, CoventryUK – A 5,800 sq.m centre will be built at Antsy Park, Coventry, following a £40m ($67m) investment by the OEM, plus a £20m government grant via the Higher Education Funding Council for England’s (HEFCE) UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (UKRPIF).

A collaboration between Rolls-Royce and the University of Birmingham, the High Temperature Research Centre (HTRC) will focus initially on the key design and manufacturing aspects of investment casting.

The new facility will enable the OEM and the university to build on their existing relationship with the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) which is also located at Antsy Park.
