Automating the transport of parts to and from turning and milling centres can increase the productivity. That’s the claim made by Schuler for its LoadMaster Assist system. The company says this newly developed robot cell will perform additional tasks such as the clamping of raw parts in the devices or the cleaning and deburring of parts, which previously had to be performed by system operators.
Schuler says this level of automation allows continuous operation of the machining centres over several days without an operator having to intervene. This range offers the LoadMaster Compact modular system, the LoadMaster Flex high rack system, and the LoadMaster Herkules for high weight classes from three to eight tons.
