Roechling, WackersdorfGermany – The plastics specialist has transferred its operations from a BMW-owned innovation park to a newly built production facility which cost €23m and covers 36,000m2. New equipment includes an injection moulding machine with a clamping force of 1,000 metric tons; another machine will be added by the end of the year.

The production area currently amounts to 3,300m2 while the logistics area totals 4,000m2. Röchling plans a further expansion in 2015, when 1,000m2 of production space will be added, and 1,500m2 for logistics. In a final phase, the original area may be doubled.

During the past year, the company’s workforce has increased from 127 to 132; it will grow to 140 by the end of 2014.
