Japan – The OEM said its output for the month rose by 6.2% year-on-year to 461,127 units, an increase for the seventh consecutive year. Production was 6.2% higher in its home country, at 66,680 units, although this represented the first decrease in two months.
Production outside Japan rose 6.2% to 394,447 units, a record for November. This included record output in the US (82,119 units) and Mexico (70,395), where the increases were 9.6% and 3.9% respectively. In China, production was up 14.0% to 130,758 units; other regions saw a 0.1% increase to 8,481 units.
However, a 2.4% decline occurred in the UK, where Nissan turned out 43,967 units, and Spanish output dropped by 17.1% to 8,481 units.
