Germany – Taking over from Torsten Greiner, Markus Kirchner will become chief commercial officer of the Edscha Group and managing director of Edscha Holding, where he will be in charge of sales and project management. Greiner, who is CEO of the Remscheid-based automotive supplier, has been temporarily looking after these responsibilities since April.
Kirchner has spent 20 years working in the industry and was previously director of automotive sales at WKW Erbslöh Automotive in Wuppertal, Germany; for two years, he was also the company’s president in Detroit, Michigan.
“Edscha is the market leader in Europe. We must maintain this position and gain larger shares of the growth markets in Asia and North America,” he said.
