US – At the Manufacturing Georgia part of the business, Stuart Countess becomes vice-president, quality subdivision, while Kia Motors America (KMA) promotes Orth Hedrick to vice-president, product planning.
Countess, who joined Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) in 2007, will now oversee overall vehicle quality as well as supplier quality, process quality, customer satisfaction, warranty and ISO/TS certifications for Business Management Systems.
Hedrick joined KMA in 2009 as director of product planning; he will continue to look after current and future portfolios in the US.
