US – General manager John Kett is leaving the company to pursue opportunities elsewhere. He will be replaced on an interim basis by Mike Manley, who is currently chief operating officer, APAC Region, as well as president and CEO of Jeep.
FCA said that Manley will assume Kett’s responsibilities with the assistance of other executive in the region, in order to keep the company’s Chinese growth strategy on track. Noting that China is now Jeep’s top market outside the US, Manley stated that the OEM will “continue to deepen our relationship with our joint venture partner, GAC, to support that strategy”.
The changes take place with immediate effect.
