Waupaca FoundryUS – The materials development and technology company today completed its acquisition of the ductile iron and gray iron castings producer which is headquartered in Wisconsin.

With three plants in Waupaca (Wisconsin), plus one site each in Marinette (Wisconsin), Tell City (Indiana) and Etowah  (Tennessee), Waupaca Foundry melts more than 9,500 tons of iron castings per day, shipping more than 5,500 tons of finished product for the passenger car, commercial vehicle, off-highway and industrial sectors. The company has a workforce of 3,800 individuals.

Waupaca operates lean manufacturing principles and makes its castings using custom-built vertical green sand moulding machines.
