China – The supplier of highly engineered sealing and anti-vibration products acquired the remaining 40% of Beijing Wanyuan-Henniges Sealing Systems from its partner, China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT).
“After 18 years of operating as a joint venture with CALT, Henniges grew its capabilities and sealing technologies and now, as a wholly-owned entity, we look forward to continuing this success and providing solutions that meet local and global demands,” commented Doug DelGrosso, president and CEO of Henniges.
Wanyaun-Henniges has grown to encompass five locations in Beijing, Changchun, Chengdu, Tianjin and Teiling. The company employs 1,500 personnel to design, develop and manufacture sealing solutions for customers such as FAW-Volkswagen Automobile, FAW Car, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen (DPCA), Shanghai Volkswagen and, most recently, General Motors.
