UK – The manufacturer of tubing, hose and fittings has announced the purchase of land at Springfield Business Park, where it is constructing an 18,000 sq.ft facility that will be almost double the size of its existing plant. The work is due to be completed by the end of this year.
Artel says the decision was driven by demand from both UK and international customers, with executive director Simon Lavin citing an increase of 80% in the past three years.
“This new facility will help to secure our future, enabling us to cater for production of increased orders,” he said. “Investment in state-of-the-art machinery will improve efficiency and safety as well as develop new products to meet our customers’ ever growing requirements.”
Established in 1990, Artel makes silicone and rubber tubing and hose, more recently adding automotive performance tubing, hose and fitting products to its portfolio.
