Renishaw has released a new laser data analysis solution for use with XL-80 and ML10 laser calibration systems, plus the XR20-W rotary axis calibrator. XCal-View, which gives users greater analytical control, covers the most common measurement types in CNC machine tool calibration, including: linear, angular, rotary, straightness, squareness and parallelism.
New features include: a revised graphical user interface (GUI); new analysis standards; comparison of data sets; zero point shifting; improved reporting, sharing and exporting; and more effective general error compensation. XCal-View is the first package in a suite of Renishaw software which encompasses data capture, analysis and error compensation.
