Klingelnberg claims its new P 16 G measuring centre is purpose-designed specifically for use in manufacturing axially symmetrical components. The company says this is the only machine in the its P series to be equipped with software for dimension, form and position, which it’s claimed will record diameter, cylindrical form/conicity, axial run out, evenness, and angularity.
The system is suitable for direct shop floor use, says Klingelnberg and it’s claimed can be employed along the entire production chain. After each manufacturing step, features can be displayed graphically or in table format, analysed, and statistically evaluated, says the company.
