Rückle Werkzeugfabrik says its MRT 800 2xs swivelling table meets the requirements for multi-face accessibility and machining of massive workpieces in one clamping position. The company claims that its rigid mounting and parallel feed, the milling table provides users with good geometric workpiece accuracy and low set-up costs.
The MRT offers distortion-free pallet clamping and is suitable for the precise machining of workpieces up to 1,600mm in diameter and 1,000mm in height as well as for loads weighing up to 4,000 kg. The company claims uncompensated positioning accuracy of the rotary tables is less then ± 2 arc seconds, the axial and radial run-out accuracy is under 10µm.
