US – The two new buildings at the OEM’s Raymond site will accommodate quality and information technology operations for North America. The expansion will open in early 2017.
The 98,000 sq.ft North American Quality Center will consolidate the activities of several Honda organisations, while the 38,000 sq.ft Ohio Data Center will complement a similar facility in Denver, Colorado, housing key information technologies and boosting the OEM’s secure data storage.
“Creating a more efficient and effective way for our associates to respond to our customers is the primary goal of our new, regional market quality facility,” said Rick Schostek, executive vice-president of Honda North America. “The global reliance on data from North America has grown year by year and our new data centre will help us manage this responsibility.”
