Rexroth’s Easy-2-Combine online confi gurator tool for handling systems features pneumatic and electric components that can interface with one another. It quickly and easily compiles a handling module without any extra calculation work and allows users to display handling modules online quickly and precisely. As an added benefit, the configurator also provides complete documentation including CAD data for the user.
The tool is easy to use and can be accessed by anyone over the internet. Users enter the information required for design and after choosing the type of installation are presented with further parameters such as the rotating angle or the maximum time per movement. Using this data the system works out the components while taking into account the mass movements of inertia.
Users can select from a variety of gripper versions, rotary compact modules and linear axes. Once specific parameters are entered, the system determines all components that are compatible with one another and that meet the requirements. A complete parts list is generated and the user is given a material number that can designate the handling module as either a kit with mounting parts or as a preassembled unit. It also provides a PDF file covering the parts list, specifi ed application parameters, calculation results, and complete assembly instruction plus CAD data.
