“Tony’s diverse technical expertise and global leadership experience position him well to further accelerate GM’s progress in every aspect of vehicle quality,” commented Barra. The company’s new head of quality has experience across manufacturing, engineering and supplier quality.
Francavilla previously served in a range of roles within GM’s Quality division, including executive director of global supplier quality. Before that, he led the manufacturing operations at the Lansing Grand River and Flint Truck plants.
