Поставки авто через израильский порт Эшдод были нарушены в связи с забастовкой докеров - членов профсоюза морского порта Эшдод. Сложности возникли у океанских экспедиторских компаний, в том числе Grimaldi, которые были вынуждены искать возможности ведения бизнеса в соседних портах. В 2012 году через порт Эшдод прошло 154 000 импортных авто.
