UK – The luxury carmaker commemorated the first meeting between founders Charles Rolls and Henry Royce on May 4, with celebrations taking place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex and at a hotel in Manchester.
At Goodwood near the company’s head office and manufacturing facility, three contemporary models were displayed: the Wraith, the Phantom Coupe and the Ghost. In total, the ‘Supercar Sunday’ Breakfast Club meeting accommodated 1,000 cars and 14,000 vistors.
In Manchester, a 2014 Phantom joined over 30 heritage Rolls-Royces outside the Midland Hotel – the scene of the first meeting between Rolls and Royce. The event was hosted by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club.
