Quaker Chemical has developed two new platform technologies, QUAKERCOOL 700 Series, designed for ferrous machining and QUAKERCOOL 7000 Series for aluminum and multi-metal machining.
The company says these new formulations reduce the use of hazardous materials and the improved emulsion characteristics in the fluids reduce the chemical consumption or water use per part, while protecting against traditional degrading materials. Quaker claims the benefits include: biostability against bacteria and fungi, flexibility for a wide range of operations and suitable for a variety of materials
