Spain – Gestamp’s board of directors has appointed Francisco López Peña as chief executive officer (CEO). As CEO he will assume responsibility for industrial operations within the company, finance direction and internal audit, among other corporate duties.
Prior to this appointment López Peña had been serving as chief financial officer (CFO) for the company since 2008. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the Politécnica University and an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona).
Francisco Riberas will retain his role as executive chairman and will focus on strategy and corporate development.
