Poland – The production milestone was achieved at the Tychy plant, where a white 1.2-litre Pop rolled off the line for shipment to a customer in France. The Fiat 500 has reached 1.5 units eight years and four months after its launch.
The car is now on sale in more than 100 countries worldwide, from Japan to North America, while the UK accounts for over 240,000 of the total sold in Europe.
Fiat says the refreshed 2015 model features no fewer than 1,900 changes, including LED daytime running lights.
