BMW and Solid Power expand joint development partnership

BMW to adopt Solid Power’s cell pilot production lines at its own Cell Manufacturing Competence Centre at Parsdorf

The two companies say they have expanded their joint development agreement and added a research and development license as a basis for their common next steps. This license enables BMW to establish an all-solid-state battery (ASSB) prototype line at its Cell Manufacturing Competence Centre (CMCC) in Parsdorf near Munich.
