Stellantis appoints Pablo Di Si as North America COO
Pablo Di Si has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for North America and Stellantis' American brands with immediate effect. He will also join the Stellantis Leadership Team and report directly to CEO Antonio Filosa.
Di Si takes over responsibilities previously held by Filosa, who had continued to oversee the region following his appointment as group CEO. According to Stellantis, the North American team has made progress in improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality, strengthening inventory management and reinforcing its market position.
Experience at Volkswagen and FCA
Di Si brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, strategy, business development and operations. Before joining Stellantis, he led Volkswagen's operations in North and South America and previously held various senior management positions at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).
Most recently, Di Si served as Chief Performance Officer at Stellantis, where he was responsible for advancing the group's Value Creation Program.
“North America is crucial for the success of Stellantis and the implementation of our FaSTLAne-2030 strategy,” said CEO Antonio Filosa. “Pablo is a proven leader who understands the North American market, our business and the importance of disciplined execution.”
Di Si also highlighted the strategic importance of the region: “We will build on a solid foundation based on strong execution and a consistent focus on our customers in the USA, Canada and Mexico.”
Further changes to Stellantis leadership
Alongside Di Si's appointment, Stellantis has announced several further changes to its management structure. Jon Nelson will become Chief Financial Officer for North America, succeeding Joao Laranjo, who previously held the position alongside his responsibilities as group CFO.
Gustavo Soloaga has been appointed Chief Performance Officer and will oversee the continued implementation of Stellantis' global Value Creation Program. He will report to CFO Joao Laranjo.
Alexandre Sorel has also been appointed CEO of Stellantis Financial Services, while retaining responsibility for the group's European financial services business.
