The paintshop of the future has to meet the needs of a rapidly changing automotive industry. Key to this will be achieving CO2-free manufacturing processes, reducing energy consumption and waste. Analytics systems will identify potential faults in advance and provide predictive maintenance, avoiding costly down time, and paintshops will need the capability to adapt production output to meet changing market demands.

This flexibility is also now measured in how fast a new car model can be introduced in the plant.

Shortening the time to market for new models is now becoming more crucial and automotive manufacturers are also pushing the reduction in the development time for new paintshops, squeezing the delivery time from 18-22 months to 10-14 months and even shorter.

In this webinar, we are going to provide our perspective on how the industry will look in 10 to 15 years as a result of these trends and offer our vision for “The paintshop of the future”.
