JLR's Cornerstone concept demonstrates the future of circular automotive manufacturing

JLR has revealed its new ‘Cornerstone’ concept vehicle, developed with more than 40 suppliers to showcase circular design and low-carbon engineering. Featuring 49 innovative components made from recycled, bio-based and low-impact materials, the project has cut the combined carbon footprint of parts by 50% while demonstrating new pathways for vehicle repair, reuse and recycling.
