Kevin Brundish is a founder and director of AMTE Power, a battery cell manufacturer specialised in high performance cells, which is planning to expand to a 2-gigawatt gigafactory in the UK. He is also director of two further companies in the energy storage sector. A successful business leader with over 25 years of experience within publicly traded and private companies, Kevin has experience with fund raising and mergers and acquisitions. A Chartered Engineer, he has worked with world leading engineering companies such as Rolls Royce and Siemens and has taken a number of technology businesses through concept, design and into production. He is a member of the Faraday Challenge advisory board and has been part of the industry group advising the top tier of government on energy storage

As President and CEO of AutoForecast Solutions LLC (AFS), Joe leverages his decades of industry experience and knowledge to provide production forecasting and advisory services to the global automotive community. Joe manages the automotive turnkey operations at AFS including the global light vehicle, powertrain, drivetrain, and alternative propulsion forecast as well as a suite of AFS proprietary opportunity and sales planning software. AFS supports all tiered suppliers, VMs, government agencies, financial institutions, and the academic community with data, planning solutions, and a personalized support to help identify new business opportunities while mitigating risk. Joe’s 25+ year career in automotive forecasting ranges from his tenure at AutoFacts, PwC, AutomotiveCompass, and now AutoForecast Solutions. Joe earned his Bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering at Villanova University and an MBA at Pennsylvania State University.

Johanna Klewitz began studying International Business and Cultural Studies at the University of Passau. She completed her studies in 2009 as a graduate in International Business and Cultural Studies and moved to the Center for Sustainability Management at Leuphana University in Lüneburg as knowledge and transfer manager. She began her doctorate there in 2010, during which she researched sustainability strategies and innovations in businesses. After completing her doctorate as Dr. rer. pol., Johanna Klewitz joined Ball Packaging Europe (Ardagh Group) in 2014 as Manager of Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs. Dr Johanna Klewit has been Coordinator for Sustainability in Procurement Strategy at Audi since 2016. In her function, she works toge ther with her team to further develop and implement the “Responsible Supply Chain Management” strategy of Audi Procurement. The strategic focus areas include ‘People,’ ‘Environment’ and ‘Innovation,’ and are aligned with the goal of generating a positive impact in and along the supply chain.

She has built a Packaging and Transportation Steering Committee to optimise this non-core business area by identify cost-saving opportunities across all the plants in North America, Europe and Asia. She holds the position of Great Lakes Regional Vice-President for the Institute of Packaging Professionals and has also served as President of the MSU School of Packaging Alumni Association. Bridget has considerable experience in the automotive industry, including roles at Ford and The Budd Company, and in 2008 started the Packaging Consultant Group, helping firms like Mobis, Polaris and Caterpillar with packaging optimisation.

Lars Carlstrom is the Swedish chief executive and founder of Italvolt. He previously started Britishvolt in the UK, which are building a 30 gigabyte factory in north eastern England. Now, Lars is building another exciting venture in Italy under the company Italvolt, which is planning to build a 45 gigawatt battery factory in the northern part of Italy, at the former home of Italian telecoms manufacturer Olivetti, a 100-hectare industrial site home to 50,000 workers 30 years ago. Herminso Villarraga-Gómez is an X-ray Quality Solutions Manager at ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions. He specializes in industrial applications of X-ray computed tomography working in dimensional metrology, 3D X-ray imaging/microscopy, and nondestructive evaluation. Herminso holds a PhD in Optical Science and Engineering (University of North Carolina at Charlotte). His current interests include contributing to the industry of quality control and advancing new manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing and new energy/battery materials. Herminso is the author of several peer-review articles, conference papers, and a book chapter. He is a member of the American Society for Precision Engineering (ASPE), the American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), the International Societies for Optics and Photonics SPIE and OPTICA, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and other professional associations promoting the advancement of engineering and applied physics.
