Metallform says its MEFO-BOX system is designed with an open structure to ensure that whatever cleaning medium is used (ultrasonic waves and/or spray jet) it has good access to the parts and can take maximum effect. The company claims this can shorten cleaning process and with improved drainage, offer more uniform drying of parts.
The units are manufactured from rounds without closed edges and corners and this is said to prevent the formation of dirt traps and residues in the container. The company claims that process reliability is increased since re-contamination of parts is largely eliminated and the open basket design also minimises the carry-over of cleaning media.
