Borgwarner HungaryHungary – BorgWarner has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility for emissions technologies at its campus in Oroszlány, Hungary. The 25,000 sq.m facility will produce key technologies for modern engines aimed at reducing emissions, such as exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, coolers, tubes and thermostats.

The energy-efficient facility, located 76km outside of Budapest, uses waste heat from air compressors and recycles rainwater for lawn irrigation. In addition the new building benefits from reduced energy consumption through the use of LED lighting and solar energy. The campus in Oroszlány has been producing advanced turbochargers for gasoline and diesel engines since 2001.
