HMS and APS Supplements

Heavyweight Manufacturing Solutions (HMS) was published following many requests from heavy vehicle makers and suppliers for a global manufacturing magazine. Over the past five years, Automotive Manufacturing Solutions (AMS) has published many articles on the commercial vehicle (CV) manufacturing scene, and while these have been very well received, we felt it was time for a dedicated supplement.

HMS covers the special demands on truck and bus makers, their particular manufacturing technologies and processes. Many of these may appear identical to auto manufacturing but often they have their own special demands. The next issue of HMS will accompany the May/June issue of AMS.

  • Asia - examining the rapid rise of Asian heavy vehicle making country infrastructures, we report on joint ventures with particular emphasis on the bus market
  • North America - we report on the major players in the US, Canada and Mexico markets.

The September/October issue of AMS will feature the second issue of Automotive Paintshop Solutions (APS) - a yearly publication that examines the challenges faced by OEMs and suppliers in paints and coatings and the solutions being developed by materials, equipment suppliers and paint process designers.

While we have covered many paintshop-related topics in AMS over the past five years, and these have been highly regarded by our colleagues in the the global vehicle business, we have had many requests from the industry for a dedicated publication.
