in Grand Rapids is the worldwide
headquarters for designing and building
turn-key solutions - EOL production
test systems, dynamometers, and tire
automation systems - for automotive
markets worldwide. BEP Europe N.V. in
Belgium manufactures EOL test systems
dynamometers, and tire automation
systems for the European market. BEP
Wuxi in Wuxi, China is where BEPCO
manufactures EOL and dynamometer test
systems for the Asian market. In addition
to global manufacturing facilities, Burke
E. Porter has fully-staffed sales and field
service offices around the globe, located in
Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, India,
Japan, South Korea and the United States.

In the field of EOL test systems, BEPCO
has always set the industry standard, having
delivered thousands of machines with
tried-and-true technology to countries
around the world. As a QS-9000, TE-9000,
and ISO-14000 certified manufacturer,

From single-roll to cradle-roll, to beltdriven
European styles, our Roll/Brake
Test Machines are specifically designed
for passenger car and light-duty trucks
and feature electrically-driven rolls, ease of
use, and low maintenance costs. They also
come in tandem and triple-axle designs
built for heavy truck platforms. With the
most expansive array of testing capability
in the industry, we can test virtually any
vehicle system.
Our durable Non-Contact Alignment
(NCA) test systems, designed for lightduty
truck, passenger car and multiple
wheelbases, feature an industry-leading
true laser imaging system, rectified sensors,
and greatly minimised non-linearity. In
addition, we can provide a full complement
of tools (steering/caster/height/frameangle),
comprehensive testing (toe/camber/
caster/thrust/height/frame-angle), and fully
integrated Headlight Aiming Systems.
In the field of laboratory testing,
BEPCO is a worldwide leader in
electric chassis dynamometers. Since
our first dynamometer installation
in 1955, we have designed, built, and
installed hundreds of test systems all
over the world. We specialize in chassis
dynamometer test systems for passenger
car/truck, motorcycle, and heavy truck
platforms for various applications such
as Emission Testing, Climatic/Altitude,
Mileage Accumulation, Electromagnetic
Compatibility, and Research &
Development. Our 4WD NVH Chassis
Dynamometer is a heavy duty four-roll
machine designed for use in all types of
emission testing, including certification of
vehicles. The machine features four 48 inch
rolls, each driven by a DC vector electric
motor/absorber that provides road load
simulation using a solid state power supply
controlled by digital logic. The result is
a system with the fast response times,
accurate control and excellent repeatability
necessary to produce reliable test results for
a variety of vehicles.
In the field of assembly automation,
BEPCO has developed a total solution for
tire automation systems. From standalone
tire and rim mounters/inflators to fullyintegrated
assembly lines (soaping, loading,
on-line vision error proofing, robotic
rim valve stemming, seal-less multiring
tire inflators, and single/dual bead
robotic mounters), Burke Porter has the
right solution for you, providing tighter
tolerances and faster cycle times in the
production environment.
In addition to test/assembly systems,
Burke E. Porter can provide a complete
range of installation and commissioning
services from simple support to turn-key
installation designed to scale to your exact
requirements.
New technology
The Host CCS is Burke Porter's latest
development in vehicle testing. The Host
CCS is the premier single computer test
cell controller system. It is capable of
simultaneously controlling a dynamometer,
robot driver/throttle actuator, fan, driver's
aide, and data acquisition. It enables
users to design, manage, and monitor
and customize tests from anywhere in the
world.
Additionally, Burke Porter has also
released its newly redesigned throttle
actuator. The compact and streamlined
design makes the throttle actuator
perfect for all applications including
HVAC testing. It also enables a driver or
instrumented occupant to sit
in the driver's seat while
operating to provide the
most flexible solution in
the market today.
Furthermore Burke Porter
would also like to introduce
VersaScan™. It is a handheld tester
with integrated vehicle communication
hardware and wireless interface. This
enables it to perform static testing and
module flashing as well as being capable of
seamlessly integrating with dynamic testers.
